Rueben is an accomplished business professional and property investor based in Dunedin, where he was born and raised. With a deep-rooted passion for his hometown, he is dedicated to enhancing the local community through ethical property management practices. His journey into the property sector was motivated by a desire to address the prevalent issues of poor and unethical service that he witnessed firsthand.
Recognising a gap in the market, Rueben founded his own property management company, committed to providing a values-based service that prioritises transparency, integrity, and inclusivity for clients of all ethnicities and backgrounds. His extensive experience in business and investment equips him with the skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the property market while ensuring that his clients receive the highest standard of service. Talaya Halbert - Operations Manager

As Operations Manager at Dunedin Property Management, Talaya utilises her multiple years of experience in the property management sector to oversee the smooth functioning of the company's operations. Marlene Lyons - Junior Property Manager

Originally from South Africa, Marlene settled in New Zealand six years ago and has since embraced the property management industry with a unique blend of experience and empathy. Having worked as a mental health nurse, Marlene brings a deep understanding of people’s needs and an ability to handle challenging situations with compassion and professionalism.
As a Junior Property Manager, Marlene is committed to fostering positive relationships between tenants and landlords, ensuring open communication and prompt resolutions. Her attention to detail and proactive approach make her a reliable and approachable figure in property management. Whether it’s addressing tenant concerns or coordinating property maintenance,
Marlene’s goal is to create seamless and supportive experiences for all parties involved. Her background in nursing gives her the added ability to empathise and respond thoughtfully to the needs of those she works with, making her a trusted partner in the property management space.
