Kaumātua Flats

E ngā mana, e ngā reo, e ngā iwi ō te motu nei, tēnā rā koutou katoa.

The Kaumātua Flats are provided as permanent accommodation for kaumātua in Ōtepōti. This enables those kaumātua to provide a korowai of manaakitanga and tīkanga to the iwi of the marae and manuhiri.

The renovation and upgrading of these flats have occurred over the past 36 months and will be formally opened and blessed on the 24th of February 2024. Nau mai, haere mai - all welcome to attend.

From that day forward the flats will be open for kaumatua to apply to live here. This page will provide all the information required for you and your whānau to apply. Links to applications and a list of viewing times will be available after that date.
