It’s been a sad month for me and my whānau as a close family friend passed away with cancer. He was young and he will be sorely missed. During the grieving process I haven’t shaved and as a result I’ve grown this thick beard.
Movember
Cancer is shit and looking at my beard made me think that it couldn’t be a better time for me to participate in Movember and hopefully raise some funds for Cancer Research.
The rules
On the last day of October I’ll shave my beard off entirely. I’ll document this and share it on my socials.
I will remain clean shaven for the month of November except for the moustache
I will post regular updates on the growth and promote donations to Movember
On the 1st of December I’ll take a final photo of the moustache and record the amount raised.
